The Time Has Come!

After three years in the planning, the American Impressionist Society's
22nd Annual National Juried Exhibition will open THIS WEEK at Gallery
1516 in Omaha, Nebraska. The public opening is this Friday, Sept. 10th
from 6 to 8pm. We're really looking forward to hosting artists from all
over the country for this exceptional exhibition. For those of you who
live in the area, artists will be painting at the Henry Doorly Zoo on
Thursday, September 10th, and other locations around the area from the
8th through the 11th. A "Wet Wall" sale of these paintings created on
location will be held at Gallery 1516 from 4 to 6pm on September 11th
(open to the publice too!). Masks will be required for everyone in the
gallery. For more information about AIS and the schedule of events
please visit www.americanimpressionistsociety.org.

Above is my painting created for the AIS Exhibition, a studio piece
painted from a plein air study I did in my back yard. Click on the
image for the story behind the painting and the title, "Rebirth - Into
the Light."

Below is my latest painting, fresh off the easel, which will be
available as part of my solo exhibition at Bone Creek Museum in David
City, NE. This is "Magic Hour at Chimney Rock" 24x36 oil on linen
panel. Click on the image to learn more about the story behind the
painting.

I'll be sending out another newsletter in a couple of weeks, ahead my
knee replacement surgery. I'll have more paintings to share with you
and more news then! Oh and by the way, my gallery will be closed this
week as I will be busy with the AIS show at Gallery 1516. Hope to see
you there!

As always, thank you so much for your support and for spending a few
minutes to read these messages. I appreciate you so much! Until next
time, take care and all my best to you and yours!

Creatively yours,
