Hello again...hope you're doing well! Summer is in full swing and so are the plein air painting events - yes, live and in person! I'm headed to Door County, Wisconsin, this weekend for the 16th Annual Door County Plein Air Festival, my favorite of all the plein air events. With last year's event being virtual, I really missed being there. I'll be posting my paintings on my social media platforms so hope you can follow along! I'll be back home for just a few days then it's off to the Paint Grand Traverse Plein Air August 9-15th in Traverse City, Michigan.

Just a short three weeks after that is an event that's been about three years in the planning. It is so exciting to be bringing the American Impressionist Society's 22nd Annual National Juried Exhibition to Gallery 1516 in Omaha. It will be held September 10th through December 12th. We're really looking forward to hosting artists from all over the country for this exceptional exhibition. For those of you who live in the area, artists will be painting at the Henry Doorly Zoo on Thursday, September 10th, and other locations around the area from the 8th through the 11th. A "Wet Wall" sale of these paintings created on location will be held at Gallery 1516 from 4 to 7pm on September 11th. "Yes This Is Nebraska" Solo Exhibition, Bone Creek Museum, David City NE, November 18, 2021-March 13, 2022. This will be the first exhibition of some of the paintings in my project showcasing the beauty and diversity of the landscape of the beautiful state I call home. Learning Opportunities for Artists of All Ages and Experience Levels!

I will not be scheduling any in-person workshops for the remainder of 2021 (will be having knee replacement surgery in early October) but not to worry!
